Import data from mybb

Hi,
Is it possible to import datas from a forum like mybb ?
Flarum and Discourse have plugin to do this import from a running mysql database.
I don't known if it's difficult or if it's a problem to importtt old data make mistake for the federation ?

Importing data is not a problem by itself. The thing that makes it difficult is: you have to know both database schemas quite well to do it effectively. If you want to keep all existing links in tact: that is basically impossible, especially for software coming from another background (keeping links from imported data from lemmy might be possible (with code adjustments), but from a forum it is very unlikely)

Our developers are currently quite busy implementing features and improving the code base itself, so we do not really have time to do it ourselves. That being said, if someone needs pointers to implement an importer we (or at least I) am happy to help with questions regarding the way our db schema works.
