Manually overriding MusicBrainz album title

Is there any way, either with built-in functionality or a plug-in, that I can configure my library so that I can override the titles of particular albums by MBID?

My use case: there's three albums released by a band that have slightly different naming style but are part of a series. I'd like to override how they are named on MusicBrainz in my library so they're consistent, and have it survive mbsync.
