Florence, Italy ยท in tech since 1997
I build backend services and distributed systems, with a focus on the things that surface in production rather than in tutorials: reliability, performance, and graceful failure. My path started in IT infrastructure โ servers, networks, monitoring, on-call โ and that operational mindset still shapes how I write code today.
- ๐ Building โ distributed web platforms (production work)
- ๐ฎ Shipping โ Kotlin rewrite of an Android puzzle game heading to Google Play
- ๐ Studying โ Informatics @ UnitelmaSapienza (BSc, in progress)
- jimpossiblemission โ 2D Java/Swing platformer designed as an in-depth showcase of object-oriented design patterns: MVC, Strategy, Command, Flyweight, and reflection-based view dispatch across ~117 classes. UML diagrams and benchmarked stream pipelines included.
- Block1To9-Android โ Number-merging puzzle (2018 Java prototype) with an original "special move" diagonal-unlock mechanic. Kotlin rewrite for Google Play in progress.
- PersonalLibraryAndroidApp โ Android book tracker (2018) with ISBN barcode scanning and dual-source metadata (Google Books + Open Library). Java snapshot today, Kotlin/Compose rewrite on the roadmap.

In tech since 1997 โ which means I've seen systems fail in ways that never show up in tutorials.
