NOMAD_META_ environment variables

Is there a way to add meta arbitrary key-value pairs through environment variables?

Nomad can be used with NOMAD_META_bar=foo, but nomad-pack looks like ignores them

I suggest implementing in the pack to render meta from a defined/specified variable.

That what we're currently doing, but that requires extra variables in the definition and repeated code across all our packs

Hi @ksimuk and thanks for raising this issue. The NOMAD_META_ environment variables are task env vars which are set by the meta job spec block and not therefore not directly related to pack. Do you mind clarifying what you're attempting to achieve, so I can better understand the problem?
